Chelo has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from Philippine Normal University and has earned 33 units towards her Master’s Degree in Child Study in the same university. She is a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and a licensed International Behavior Therapist (IBT) by International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO). Chelo is currently taking a course to obtain her International Behavior Analyst (IBA) certification. 

Chelo has been working with children with Autism, ADD, ADHD, speech and language delay, and Global Developmental Delay for almost 20 years, in Manila and Dubai. She has experience of working with different age groups and has been implementing behaviour programs supervised by a BCBA/IBA. She is well trained in using ABA techniques that manage children’s behavior in a structured way by approaching skills in pieces rather than as a whole. Chelo has used PECS to help develop a child’s communication skills. 

Her goal is to provide children with additional needs the best therapy and help them reach their full potential using Applied Behavior Analysis. She always encourages family members to take their part in the therapy process and be aware of what their children need. Chelo’s experience within ABA has made her realise how blessed and grateful she is to be part of helping a child to make progress.
