Azraa is a graduate of the University of Cape Town with a BSc in Speech and Language Pathology

She has previously worked in school settings, including mainstream schools and has vast experience in conducting individual speech, language and dysphagia screening and assessments implementing intervention plans and ongoing management of speech and language delays, supporting learners with learning difficulties, pragmatic skills, feeding abilities, and literacy
Azraa is trained in delivering the following programmes: Makaton Level 1, 2, 3, and 4. Makaton is a unique language programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to facilitate the development of communication.

TEACCH is an approach that employs strategies designed to address the difficulties faced by children and adults with mild, moderate and severe speech and language difficulties by focusing on individual strengths and harnessing emerging skills with an emphasis on visual cues and support
The Assessment and Treatment of Children with Cerebral Palsy + Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT): this includes assessing and treating children with Cerebral Palsy in multiple settings using a functional and integrated approach based on applying the Bobath concept which is to promote motor learning for efficient motor control in various environments.
