Sheryl graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Philippines. She is a licensed International Behavior Therapist by the International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO).

Sheryl started working in the field of Special Education as a Special Educator in a group setting and one-on-one sessions with children with different needs, such as Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and other learning disabilities. She moved to the UAE in 2012 and worked at an international school for 7 years. She also worked as a Learning Support Staff, which focused on helping children with their social skills, academic skills, and self-help skills while promoting independence inside and outside the classroom. During this time, she completed the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) course and earned her Diploma in SEN, and she became a licensed RBT in 2018.

Sheryl joined Neuropedia in 2020 as an ABA Therapist and has experience with doing home, school and clinic-based ABA therapy in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
