Chandana Agarharam

Chandana is a passionate and friendly occupational therapist from India who completed her master’s degree from SRM University. She is specialized in paediatrics with experience in both hospitals and in private clinical practices.

Her main areas of interest are:

She is passionate about developing visual motor skills to assist children’s in interacting effectively with the world, while further supporting independence within and beyond the classroom. She enjoys working and collaborating with children and their families, enabling them to apply the skills learned in sessions to their daily lives.

She conducted a study employing the Test of Gross Motor Development–Third Edition (TGMD-3) to systematically compare gross motor performance between children with ADHD and their typically developing peers. Results showed significantly lower TGMD-3 scores across both locomotor and ball-skill domains—in the ADHD group, indicating developmental delays. The findings validate the clinical sensitivity of TGMD-3 for identifying motor deficits in neurodiverse populations.
