occupational therapist in Dubai

Zerina Mukuddem is from Cape Town, South Africa, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science, Occupational Therapy Degree in the year 2000.

She had several years of experience working in a government hospital (TB Hospital with developmentally delayed babies), The League of Friends of the Blind (blind adults), as well as, a private company as a disability claims assessor, before eventually moving to the UK in 2001, completing her UK conversion examination in 2002 and becoming a member of the Health Professions Council. She garnered experience in orthopedics in the UK. She also delved into the care of the elderly and general medical community rehabilitation working for various hospitals on the NHS in and around North London.

In 2013, Zerina moved to Dubai, passing her Dubai Health Authority examination in 2014. Until 2018, she worked with Kids First Medical Centre and Inspire Therapy Dubai, in a pediatric setting of occupational therapy, based mainly in schools, but also in clinics. In 2019 she joined Dubai British School in the Primary Inclusion team as a foundation learning assistant where she put her occupational therapy experience to good use. Finally, with all this experience at the forefront, she joined Neuropedia as an occupational therapist in Dubai.
