Suhaila graduated from Manipal University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. She has over 6 years of experience working in educational settings in the United Arab Emirates.

Suhaila’s areas of assessment and treatment include:

• speech sound disorders
• receptive/expressive language delays
• communication disorders
• pragmatic language disorder

Her speciality is working with children aged 3 to 18 years who have language delays or speech sound disorders. Suhaila’s experience also includes addressing social communication difficulties and working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

She is passionate about supporting children with communication challenges and believes in building their confidence through motivating and creative methods. Her approach centres on the child and involves comprehensive assessments and interventions, while fostering positive relationships with families and other professionals to ensure a collaborative team approach.

She has completed training on the 3-Part Treatment Plan for OPT, OPT: Assessment and Program Plan Development, and Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach. Additionally, Suhaila is experienced in using specialized therapeutic approaches, including PECS, AAC, colourful semantics, Attention Autism, and Lego Therapy.
