Mariyam Meenaz Arshad is a dedicated psychologist and Behaviour Therapist, who holds dual master’s degrees in General Psychology from Osmania University Hyderabad, India and Counseling Psychology from the University of Madras, India and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore. Additionally, Mariyam has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Child and Adolescent Counseling from Mentex School of Counselling and Psychotherapy, India and the required coursework for ABAT and IBT certification from Pulse Therapy and Learning Center in Dubai where she has been trained in the use of Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and other techniques of ABA.
With three years of experience across various roles related to pedagogical training and guidance for children and adolescents , Mariyam has expertise in working with preschool and elementary-aged children, by providing customized academic support and mentoring. Her approach includes creating engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on building foundational skills and closing learning gaps and with a focus on personal development in young learners.
