Dr. Haneesha is our DEVELOPMENTAL AND BEHAVIORAL PEDIATRICIAN at Neuropedia Childrens Neuroscience Center. She did her Bachelors in Medicine and Masters in Pediatrics from St. John’s Medical Institute Bangalore, INDIA. She is also a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health from UK. During her work as a Specialist Pediatrician, she developed a keen interest in children with special needs. She did her Superspecialty Fellow training in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics under the Indian Academy of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.

Dr. Haneesha is competent in Developmentally Supportive Care, High risk Neonatal Clinics and Developmental follow up programs, Early Childhood Developmental Delays and Disorders and their management which includes Motor and Speech delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Cognitive delays, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disorders and various Behavioral Disorders. She also leads School readiness evaluation programs, Developmental assessment and evaluation, Outreach programs on socio-emotional Learning, Developmental follow ups and Parent counseling.

Her special areas of interest include Autism-Spectrum-Disorder, ADHD and Early Intervention Developmental programs. She is a strong supporter that every child can do better and we need to move from Label to Enable. Her motto is to empower children with special needs and promote Inclusivity and Belongingness with community acceptance of Neurodivergence.

She has a keen interest in teaching, and research and has been awarded for her work. She is also a keen writer and on the editorial board for newsletters, which aim to educate and empower parents on various parenting skills.
